Yes, they are real and it is true. Parrots are living in England in some parks and streets.

Here is the story.

The most weird story behind the parakeets in London is that Jimi Hendrix purchased some parakeets in a cage and then….

in the heart of Swinging London at the height of peace and love, he opened the door of the cage and unleashed two bright green birds: Adam and Eve, a breeding pair of ring-necked parakeets.

Nobody knows if this story is true or not. But the fact is, that in London and in South-England, parakeets live, indeed. On the streets, in the parks, like in the St James Park or the Hyde park. I think we will never know where they came from.
