Where Does Inspiration Come From? 🦜✨

Some days, the creative well runs dry. You find yourself staring at a blank page, forced to brainstorm and push through the work just to spark a single decent idea. It’s part of the process, but it’s definitely the “hard work” side of art.

Then, there are those fortunate days where the magic just happens. You sit down, and the ideas flow so fast you can hardly keep up!

As The Cool Parrot Girl, I’m usually blessed with a constant stream of new projects and creative visions. I just watch parrots or dogs and then I already have some fuel for my creativity, maybe creating a 3D printed dog or 3D printed parrot, using different filaments and colours. However, I’m also a huge believer in community. I love scrolling through other creative accounts on Instagram; seeing the incredible work others are doing often acts as a catalyst for me.

I might see a colour palette or a texture that inspires me to create something totally different and unique to my style, but that original spark came from them. Art is a conversation, and I love being part of it.

I design a lot of 3D printed dogs and also I absolutely love AI generated art, even if it’s a controversial topic.
